It makes perfect sense that it would. I just never thought about it before.
In looking at the symptoms of CDS, they seem more comparative to Alzheimer's Disease than other dementias because of the wandering, pacing, sleepless nights and sometimes aggression that occurs.
The aggressive behavior is understandable - when a dog forgets who their trusted care takers are, they then react as if to a stranger.
Dementia in all of God's creatures is very sad to see. I am glad that there are medications that are available to help.
Thank you for spreading the word so that pet owners might recognize these symptoms earlier and begin treatment when it may be more inclined to help.

~ Shelley

Comment on K-9 Communication by Al Magaw

A well done and a remarkable article I look forward to reading more from Al ...!!!

Comment on Feeding a Raw Diet to My Dogs and Sharing My Discoveries

thanks for sharing your experiences! We started feeding raw for our anxious and underweight dog and over 3 months the difference is amazing. Diet

It's a sad state of affairs when feeding a raw diet to dogs, as nature intended, is a "controversial way of providing nutrition for your dogs". What should be controversial is feeding dry kibble to our dogs, which is a human-invented food for dogs, created for our convenience. There is nothing normal or natural about feeding kibble to them if you really stop to think about it. Bravo for posting information on how to do a raw diet. We feed our dog and 3 cats raw food.

Comment on H1N1, Captain Trips and the Swine Flu

The fact that the vaccine made you ill does not mean that the actual flu would be worse. Some people have been permanently damaged by the vaccine.

I use Super Vira-gon if I feel anything coming on and it works! All natural and powerful preventive.
Go to www.animalworldusa.org on the Inspiration page and scroll down to the Baseline Nutritionals link to order.
