Denver Dog Training Updates for Week of October 27, 2008

Board and Training Updates

This article is for you to check your dog and his training progress while he participates in our board and train program. I grade all dogs on a scale of 0-4. All dogs start at a O (and I am a tough grader) and will progress as the training program progresses. Please keep in mind that all dogs take between three and five days to adjust to life at the school and the rigors of training. Please feel free to check this page frequently as we will do our best to update it everyday. Should you have any further questions do not hesitate to email us at train@denverdogworks.com or give us a call at the school at 303-752-2818. The best time to reach us is late afternoons.

 The following represent our scale:

0-No exposure to the training program.

1-Minimal exposure to the training program or task.

2-Exposure to the training program and showing improvement. This represents average progress.

3-Training program is progressing as planned. This represents above average progress.

4- Training program is progressing better than expected. This represents exemplary progress.

Veterinarian and Grooming Services~ At Denver Dog Works we can handle any of your veterinary, grooming or other appointments. We work in conjunction with Broadview Animal Clinic  North Metro Animal Clinic and Broadview Grooming. If you need any of these services please let us know at drop off. We often do nail trims, bath and brushes, full grooms, neuter/spaying, vaccinations, teeth cleaning, and much more for dogs that are staying with us. Prices are very competitive and some of the lowest in Denver.

I will try my best to give a training once a week on this blog update  as often as I can but my first priority is training the dogs. If you would like to talk to someone about your dog please give us a call and we will return your call after 4pm when our training day is coming to a close. Rest assured that your dog is fine during his training at our school.
